I wrote a Black Cat story in December 2016 as part of a project to support animal shelters. My local writing group was putting together a compilation “Animal Crackers” with 100% of the proceeds supporting local shelters. I wanted to do my part, so I wrote a six-chapter short story.
I’ve decided to publish Black Cat as a standalone to help promote that project. Here’s the cover I’ve created for it. What do you think? Any suggestions? Ideas?
This is a science fiction story featuring a heroine who is a shapeshifter. She, of course, can shift into a cat shape.
